Hopefully you have read this link right people. Now you have to prospect for them.
When we say finding the right people we are talking about anybody who can add value to your business by purchasing products, selling products or joining as an Unfranchise Business Owner.
Most people begin with their family and friends, closely followed by work colleagues and other acquaintances. Once family and friends and so on have been exhausted progress seems to become more difficult, especially if you haven’t set up your two legs. Qualifying your two legs is very important.
You eventually realise you have to do some cold calling to find more prospects which most people hate. A key here is to avoid being in sales mode. People don’t like being sold to! We’ll go more into this in another link. It is more important to build relationships. Opportunities to share your business will come and it is important to wait for the right opportunities.
In the meantime, get yourself prepared. Create your one liner about what you do. It must be genuine and you can say it in way that can prick people’s interest. This is when you can take the opportunity to share more about what you do. Even so, don’t overdo it. Make sure you stay focussed on the relating rather than selling. You can always develop the opportunity but you don’t have to do it immediately.

Remember the preferred outcome is a long term relationship with your business.
This whole process can be stimulating and fun, and reduces the potential of rejection or assumed failure. As you develop contacts you increase your access to more contacts through these contacts.
How do you find these contacts? There are lots of different ways to make connections. First of all try those you are comfortable with until you develop further skills. Wherever you go there will be opportunities. Shopping, clubs, meetings and gatherings of people. Your role is to be ready with your question about them, which open up possibilities for you. It always has to start with them.
Some of the ways that people use to find the right people include: referrals, social media, own website, advertising, church events, networking events, business cards strategically placed, network boards, expos, fairs, and so on. You just need to know what you are looking for and be ready with your bait.
