The Right People

The Right People is anybody who can add value to your business.  Every person is a possibility, but not everybody is interested in your business or the products.

When we say the right people we mean anybody who is interested in purchasing products, selling products or coming aboard as an UnFranchise Business Owner.

We feel these are the main driving factors of the business.  However it is enrolling people with the right attributes for an owner of an Unfranchise Business that will enable your business to grow.  The more people you enrol the faster you can grow.

Let’s be clear.  Anybody can be successful in this business if they follow the plan.  You want people who are clear if they want to be involved and how they want to be involved.  People who understand what the business provides and who choose to be part of it once they are well informed.  They need to make the decision for themselves and not because of pressure.  If they step aboard under pressure they will often take the first opportunity to back out when the going gets tough.

In this section we focus on the kind of people that will do well in the business knowing that only a small percentage will actually end up joining it.

Assuming our primary focus is finding people who will eventually join the business, then what characteristics might be considered of benefit:

Happy people

  •           Enjoy talking to people
  •           Good listener
  •           Explain things clearly
  •           Work well on own and within team
  •           Able to follow a plan
  •           Desire to succeed
  •           Be coachable  “willing to be corrected and to act on that correction.”

Once initial contact and some interest has been established then move on to developing the prospect using what ever approach you have developed.

Do not waste your time trying to enrol people who are not interested and say no.  It is more productive to maintain the connection because you never know the future.  They could end up showing interest at any time in the future.  In the meantime if you maintain the relationship you could also get some referrals from them.  Learn to let go and don’t get stuck or apply more pressure.  It is pointless!
